really? I didn't enrolled for local A/L. so I am not sure how it works. anyway when you calculate something usually 10 is the value not 9.8ms^-2.
9.8ms^-2 is used when consider the accuracy.
cause that's the average value. also you should remember you may not be able to apply 9.8ms^2 in every places cause the surface gravity may differ from place to place.
