See the thing is MR did quite a lot to improve the quality of life of people living in rural areas, like me myself. There was a return for my investment on him. Can't say the same about any other politician.

If people can give a second chance to Ranil, who offered administrative powers in north-east to the LTTE on a platter on his first term of premiership ([1]. [2], [3]), I don't see why Mahinda shouldn't be given a second chance.

But... granted that I actually dont approve some of the things Ranil did., I do understand that he had a different game plan than of what Mahinda had OR the lack of it.

I mean., for fuck sake.... we all know Mahinda didn't PLAN the war victory and it should goto all the Soldiers and Three Forces Chief Commanders for it... but as the man who stood at the helm without a plan, he automatically gets the cake !

But if you take the lesser or two evils presented to you.....

IDK how anyone could come to that conclusion, but Mahinda had the backbone to stand firm against an Eelam administration unlike Ranil and the UNF.
