simple solution, use a dimmable LED with a light dimmer, works perfectly. i have a one in my bed room.

This type of LED can dim using normal light dimmers, this filament is actually a string of led and dimming means you are under running the led, that will increase led lifetime as well, 4w bulb costs around 450.00LKR. only issue is you can't find these in good brands, even Chinese brands seems to be working fine and last long.

i think branded(orange) dimmer costs less than 1000LKR

Also you can try a smart bulb, you can control the light intensity via app or Alexa/Google Home. but good one would cost around 3000-4000LKR. you can even set the color of the light.
