"Let me defend the current executive president's failures and contributions to the economy's downfall by pointing out what dead Jeppos did back in 1987."

Every economic debacle depends on previous fucked-ups, just like the domino effect. simple example. Before the Jeppos last rebellion, state transport was much better than the current pathetic, infamous roudy killers who dominate the roads. But those insolent jeppos thought that they could oust a government by arsoning state property; they burned down hundreds of buses, which created a void that the government let the private sector fill and causally created a monopoly that no one has control over..

The stupidest decision that we can make is electing Jeppo to power. Please study world history; there is an island nation that is very similar to us; they experimented with the same idea years ago. Young radicals oust corrupted western-loyal governments and elect their young leader as president. Do you know what happened to them? They became a police state, and the entire country became an open prison. Their leader reigned until his death, and his party named the former leader's brother as the president.

I did not get anything from that link, and I wanted to know what you were trying to imply. so please elaborate.
You said government invited private sector to involve in the transportation after the two JVP insurrections, but according to NTC website, private sector was invited long after the first insurrection and before the second insurrection, because of the poor functioning of the regional boards.

1978 - Established nine regional boards. Introduced less fares. Poor management. Heavy loss and political influences.

1979 - Invited to private sector to invest in transport sector due failure of regional Companies.

""which created a void that the government let the private sector fill and causally created a monopoly that no one has control over.""

This sentence has never implied what you are trying to establish. so simple an answer: No.

Private sector was invited a long before insurrection and continued to grew with the introduction of open economy. Can you provide any factual evidence to prove what you claim here?

On the other hand, was the government then being unable to control the private sector becoming a monoply, the jeppo's fault? It seems like all UNP governments get weaker in front of jeppos, doesn't it ?

Please ask your parents, Was the state transport system better than it is now? Please ask, and I would like to know. I don't have evidence; I don't need to prove anything, but I like to let people know that before the rebellion, better transportation existed. However, as an undeveloped nation, there is already a need for improvement. The government let the private sector take over because the economic situation got worse after those rebellions and the war with the LTTE.
