Oke thiyenne Sancharani ge pilithuru githaya
This is a good book but it has been over hyped.
Story seems to be a somewhat real life incident.
"Samidha" has a one-sided love with a girl who works in a factory nearby to his house. He never expresses his love given his introverted nature. This girl walks from the station to her workplace on a remote path with a May tree. She's in love with its flowers. Hence the name of the book. Samidha does not know her name since he has never talked to her. So he has given her a name Sancharani. Anyway going forward, the factory closed down and Sancharani has stopped coming to work. Samidha tries to find her but couldn't. Ultimately he couldn't express his love for her. This happened in circa 90s.
This story is narrated by the author of the book. Samidha is a close friend of his. In the corona time, Samidha died in Badulla hospital. He never got married because he was waiting for Sancharani (for whatever reason)
