Had the same experience in St. Peters. Its a lot of pressure on kids. But the thing is, some kids actually were in formals waiting for their turn sitting patiently like adults while mine was jumping and shouting like a monkey.
Didnt get selected initially but got called for Sinhala medium. Then tried through a contact and with a higher donation and got a meeting with the Rector. But we decided not show up beacause we didnt like the restricted culture.
Later i saw parents taking turn controlling traffic infront of the school in the mornings.

Musaeus wage schools wala enne ehema pressure ekak newe machan. Parents lata social pressure ekak enne yaaluwonge parentsla enne mehema waahana wala, gewal thiyenne mehe, salli mechchara thiyenawa etc. It was not the case 15 years ago. Sri Lanka is a stupid country with a stupid education system machan. Cmb schools are not a good pick anymore machan if you don't reside in cmb.
Musaeus is another league of studity. They are not interested in educating children, they think if the parents are rich enough or educated enough the kid will automatically succeed with the guidance hence the school name will be promoted. So basically you are paying them for nothing.
