It's a drama/conference hall with a seating capacity over 3000 and somewhat like BMICH hall. It's a gift from china. It is attached to Visual Arts faculty of the University of Colombo. This was supposed to open by last June but was postponed till September

And also Chinese govt is refurbishing the BMICH with modern standards and its closed from Last May till December this year.
