The question is 6÷2(1+2) =

First of all you must differentiate between '÷' and '└' on your calculator

The question is ÷ , so it will be
6÷2(1+2) =
6÷2(3) =
6÷6 = 1

or maybe you can do it this way
6÷2(1+2) =
6÷(2+4) = <<< distributive
6÷6 = 1


If the question is └ , the answer will be

6└2(1+2) =
3(1+2) =
3(3) = 9

or you can write it like this

(6/2)(1+2) =
(3)(3) = 9

but if the question used └ or / then it's not clear because we can interpret it in 2 ways :
(6/2)(2+1) << just like what casio does
and
6/{2(2+1)}

So the answer is 1

Failures are pillars of success then it seems you may have a quite lot of pillars in your backyard. let's see the reason for my accusation.
first the mathematical calculations should follow the BODMAS aka operation priority method. like what I have mentioned in my comment. division should be concerned prior to multiplication so then what you have made should be corrected as

6÷2(1+2) =
(6÷2) * (1+2) =
(3)*(3) = 9


or maybe you can do it this way
6÷2(1+2) =
6÷(2+4) = <<< distributive
6÷6 = 1

Distributive isn't a correct way since you can't multiply values when it goes like this way.
if it's made like this.
6(1+2) + 2(3+3)
then it's entirely correct.


If the question is └ , the answer will be

6└2(1+2) =
3(1+2) =
3(3) = 9

or you can write it like this

(6/2)(1+2) =
(3)(3) = 9

despite your invalid argument this is the correct answer.


but if the question used └ or / then it's not clear because we can interpret it in 2 ways :
(6/2)(2+1) << just like what casio does
and
6/{2(2+1)}

So the answer is 1

There ain't any interpretation cause math interprets itself.
