haha dont say funny things man, its because of his ceasefire that LTTE got more weapons even if his peace negotiation went well without killing anyone present sri lanka will be controlled by LTTE ranils so down to them that he'd give anything they ask for. So dont get the picture wrong sometimes true peace comes thru wars its a fact NO ONE went to negotiations with hitler!! NO one still goes to negotiations with Al Quaida why LTTE is being pittied sooo much?? and people still support ranil, i can understand why the people who made money from war supports him but others? they get nothing even the country was pulled back ages when he got outta power why? because he licks capitalism @ss?
Name one single country that got into terms on paper with terrorists and got a peaceful solution..where on this earth man?
It may be funny for a person who don't read the post properly

Try to emphasis on the words that are bold.
If he gave anything they want, then it's not the correct path.
Yes, he should have done something about the weapon transportation during the cease fire period. But it's not the only period which LTTE got weapons from foreign countries right?
And again people misses the point of it. What's the point of having weapons if the war ended by the peace process he tried to achieve?
True he is not a good leader, in a sense, he should have think carefully about what'll happen if the process ended without a result.
Hitler and Al Quaeda are 2 different things. Those are between 2 or more countries literally. Those strategies cannot be applied to a war "within a single country".
Do people still support Ranil? Well, I don't think so... People should support someone who can do things "properly". That's why I don't support neither Ranil nor Mahinda...
Oh the comment on making money is totally wrong. People who makes money by selling weapons loves Mahinda and not Ranil.
If there is a single country where they have won against terrorists, then it is because the terms were written on a paper and not by war. OK, tell a single country which "really" "completely" won the battle against terrorism by using "only" weapons?
