This is not about exercise of media freedom bro.... this is about a man working for Derana TV and paid by Derana TV degrading and humiliating a woman on a public programme, and Derana TV not doing anything about it.

and all of a sudden this came up so he took the advantage of the situation.

Look bro.... my comment was not about Ranil's threats or Derana's backbone, my comment was about what this man said on live TV.

It is not right. Just because he is a TV presenter doesn't make him an expert on opera and give him right to say anything. It was purely a third rate muck trawling by a man who forgot who wasn't the president for a moment.

I don't see any wrong doing by PM in this video. What he says is right IMHO. I'm not into politics.

Media is media. They want something for the headline. In most countries, media does the most damage than terrorist.

How many songs are currently manipulated by our Sinhalese artist and selling them for money. After couple of drinks, our guys will dance for if the national anthem played in reggae.

Bear in mind, this is all about politics. If anyone has ever enjoyed music, no complains about this song sung in opera.
