That's the honest truth. We don't have any so called "Mullahs" with a functioning brain. A muslim friend of mine who lives in a western country sent this to me when the initial uproar of cremations started, a long time ago.
His Mullah's interpretation...
"Beliefs about resurrection: Muslims believe in resurrection of the physical body. The Quran teaches that the body slowly disintegrates, except for the tailbone. It is believed that at the time of resurrection, Allah resurrects the body from the tailbone. Cremation is thought to prevent resurrection by destroying the tailbone along with the rest of the body.

However, it is also believed that Allah can make the cremated body whole again for resurrection regardless of whether there are any physical remnants remaining, so if a person is cremated, it does not necessarily preclude them from entering heaven or hell."

A statement like this from a religious leader helps to calm down the situation... Unfortunately we have brain dead religious leaders and equally brain dead politicians.
A pandemic has to be dealt by epidemiologists. Not by the donkeys in the army or any experts on religion. A virus doesn't discriminate against any religious beliefs. The Iranians learnt the lesson badly. That's enough proof.
