as the cavity is small i applied a hand full of cement.but it got cracked again. concrete would be a good solution. but the cavity is not a bigger one to apply concrete. you mean wall putty is better than cement ?
No wall putty is very brittle and gives only aesthetic features. If you repair those damages with cement, let it cure for two days and check again. And for drilling holes, don't use a hammer but a drill machine.
