වැඩිහිටියන්ට පමණයි ලේබලය යටතේ ඉදිරිපත් කෙරෙන සියලුමචිත්‍රපට ශ්‍රී ලංකාව තුළ තහනම් කිරීමට රජය තීරණය කර ඇති බව සංස්කෘතිකකටයුතු හා ජාතික උරුමයන් පිළිබද ඇමැති මහින්ද යාපා අබේවර්ධන මහතා පවසයි.මෙයට අමතරව අසභ්‍ය දර්ශන සහිත වැඩසටහන් හා ප්‍රකාශන සම්බන්ධව දැනට පවතිනනීති දැඩිකර බරපතල දඩුවමකට යටත් කළ හැකි පරිදි නීති සකස් කරන බව දඇමැතිවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් පැවසීය.
ඊයේ පැවැති මාධ්‍ය හමුවකදි අදහස් දැක්වූ අමාත්‍යවරයාමේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් වැඩිදුරටත් කරුණු දක්වමින් මෙසේ ද පැවසීය. " වැඩිහිටියන්ටපමණයි ලේබලය යටතේ ඇති චිත්‍රපට තහනම් කිරීම සදහා වන කඩිනම් අනුමැතියලබාගෙන ඉතාමත් ඉක්මනින් නීති සකස් කරනවා. ඒ අතරම රූපවාහිනී, ගුවන්විදුලිසහ පුවත්පත් වෙළද දැන්වීම් සදහා රැගුම් පාලන මණ්ඩලයේ අනුමැතිය ලබා ගැනීමඅනිවාර්ය කරනවා. සමාජයට සහ කුඩා දරුවන්ට අහිතකර ආකාරයෙන් කිසිදුප්‍රමිතියකින් තොරව ඇතැම් දැන්වීම් ප්‍රචාරය කිරිම නිසා තමයි රජය මෙමපියවර ගත්තේ.මේ අතරම අපි රැගුම් පාලක මණ්ඩලයට වැඩි බලතල ලැබෙන ආකාරයට ඊට අදාල පනත සංශෝධනය කරන්නත් බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා" යනුවෙන් පැවසිය.
මේ පිළිබද අදහස් දැක්වූ බොහෝ පිරිස් පැවසුවේ රජයේ මෙමතීරණය "අතීසාරයට අමුඩය ගැසීමක්" හා සමාන බවයි. පසුගිය කාලයේදී ජංගමදුරකතනවල ඇති අසභ්‍ය දර්ශන ඉවත් කිරිමට රජය සංදර්ශන ක්‍රියාමාර්ගයක් ගත්බවත්, එය සංදර්ශනයක් මිස කිසිදු ප්‍රායෝගිය වැඩපිළිවෙලක් නොවන බවත් ඔවුහුපැවසූහ.
එමෙන්ම පසුගිය කාලයේදී රූපවාහිනී නාලිකාවලදුම්වැටි හා මත්ද්‍රව්‍යවල රූප විකාශය වන අවස්ථාවේදී තිරය මත කොටු ප්‍රදර්ශනය කිරීමට නියෝග කර තිබිණි. නමුත් දැන් ඒ කොටු අසල මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය භාවිතය දිරි ගන්වන වැකි සහිත සෝඩා වැනි ප්‍රචාරක දැන්වීම් ප්‍රචාරය වේ. සිදුව ඇත්තේ චිත්‍රපට රසවින්දනයට බාධා ඇතිවීම පමණි.
දැනට චිත්‍රපට වර්ගීකරණයේදී "වැඩිහිටියන්ට පමණයි" ලෙස වර්ග කෙරෙන්නේ වැඩිහිටියන් නැරඹුවාට ගැටළුවක් නොවන චිත්‍රපටය. වැඩිහිටියන්ට පවා සුදුසු ‍නොවන විකෘති කාමාශාවන් ජනිත කරන අසභ්‍ය චිත්‍රපට ලංකාවේ චිත්‍රපට ශාලාවල ප්‍රදර්ශනය ‍නොකෙරෙන අතර, ඒවා පෙන්වීම හා ළග තබා ගැනීම නීතියෙන් තහනම් ය. චිත්‍රපට ශාලාවල ඉහත ලේබලය යටතේ බොහෝ විශිෂ්ඨ චිත්‍රපට ප්‍රදර්ශනය කෙරේ. අතීතයේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා සිනමාවේ නිර්මාණය වූ විශිෂ්ඨතම චිත්‍රපට ගණනාවක් නිකුත් වූයේ ඉහත වර්ගීකරණය යටතේය. එබැවින් නව නියෝගය ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සිනමා කලාවට ඉතා අහිතකර බලපෑමක් කරනු ඇතැයි කලාකරුවෝ පවසති.

Looking at how lame the cigarette and alcohol censoring campaign was carried out, I don’t really trust these people to act any differently regarding this matter. They will just ban anything with the slightest adult content.

According to MPAA (Motion picture Association of America) an R rated movie might contain adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements, so that parents are counseled to take this rating very seriously.

Yes XXX related things violates the human rights , the porn film industry is a hell.
But it don't take a life. So it's less violation than the meat industry. So no. 1 is the
meat industry as I think. You say eating meat is you're preference ! so what about
this ? it's also their preference according to you're idea , ( not mine ) my idea is
it's both are bad. Internet is good or bad , it's like a sharp knife , you can use
it to kill somebody or cut you're birthday cake. But according to you're idea it's
not wrong watching porn. no matter he is a girl or a boy. But my idea is both are
bad both takes human rights.

there are abortion factories all around the colombo , everyday we loose
about 700-800 babies in this small country. Actually murder ! HR violation
who is speaking about those things ? hell the government is a blind. talk
about those things first. watching porn and porn industry is baddddddd!

industry and the mass abortion factories in sri lanka.

However no matter our ISPs are ban our internet , there are still ways to
access. The result will be more torrent speed will increase on the local
internet. Because more local users are downloading the torrent context
due to the lack of RS and MEGA then there will be more peers , remember
torrent is a P2P netowrk. Even at the day time we don't get 52KBps on RS
but some torrents get , because torrents are P2P , and there is nowhere
middle server is located. So tracing is difficult. Never vanish it from the net.
it's not possible. Even you ban major tracker sites there is also P2P tracker
sharing systems on famous torrent clients. So this is impossible thing
in techinically as I knew. Even some HSPDA users tell me they are downloading 4G for a day using torrents. Yep because some HSPDA shares
the same IP the RS and Megaupload will not working. But the problem is
they recieve higest 1.5Mbps like downloading speed on torrents. Because
local torrent P2P clients are more there.

But I thinks for a civilized socieaty we should ban porn ! want to see the naked truth about porn industry ???? Most of they are drug addits and most of they are HIV inflected. Most of their real lives are shitt ! It's a human
right violation for sure.
