    Can. But then you have to take phase to phase voltage as neutral is floating. So your voltage will be 400V. In the mean time, do you know that 33kV systems don't have a neutral voltage?

    230/230 isolation transformer එකකිනුත් කරන්නෙ මේ වැඩේනෙ..

    නැත්තං ට්‍රාන්ස්ෆෝමරෙන්ද හදා ගන්නෙ..

    The generator is usually earthed using an earthing transformer. If there are a number of generators - only one of them is earthed.
    BTW I am not in the power generation or distribution field. :rolleyes:

    ගෙදර වයරින් එකේ එක ලයිට් එකක් දැම්මත් ඇති මුළු නියුටල් වයර් ඔක්කොමවලින් කරන්ට් එකක් වදින්ඩ. ඒත් එහෙම වෙන්නෙ නෑ..

    මේකටම මම තව ප්‍රශ්නයක් අහන්නම්....

    Grid එක 110v නැතුව ඇයි ලංකාව වගේ පුංචි රටක 230v පාවිච්චි කරන්න තීරණය කලේ? Japan වලත් domestic පාවිච්චි කරන්නෙ 110v න‍ේද? US වලත් 120v පාවිච්චි වෙනව කියල මම අහල තියෙනව. මෙතන 50/60Hz ගැන කතාවකුත් තියෙනව. මේ ගැන කවුරු හරි හරියට දන්නවද විස්තරයක්?:confused::confused::confused:

    ගෙදර නියුටල් වයර් එක කැඩිල නැත්තං ඒ කියන්නෙ නියුටල් එක පාරෙ කනුවට ගිහින් ට්‍රාන්ස්ෆෝමරයෙ නියුටල් ලියින් එකට හරියට සම්බන්ධ වෙලා නං ඒ අතර මඟ කොහෙ අතින් ඇල්ලුවත් වදින්ඩ විදියක් නෑ.. හැබැයි බල්බ් එකක් වගේ යම් ප්‍රතිරෝධයක් හරහා ගියාට පස්සෙ තමා දැන් නියුටල් කියල අපි සලකන්නෙ.. නැත්තං පේස්ම තමා :P. ලයිට් ස්විච් එකක බල්බ් එකට යන රිටන් වයර් එක එහෙම අල්ලන්ඩ යන්ඩ එපා. ඒක කොහොමත් පේස්
    හැබැයි ප්ල්ග් එකකට නියුටල් එක එනව..

    විදුලි බලාගාරවල වයින්ඩිං එක බයිසිකල් ඩයිනමෝවක් වගේ තනි වයින්ඩිං එකකින් ගත්තොත් මොකද වෙන්නෙ..

    How come we rotate 3 Phase motors bn ? Majority of industrial applications are 3 Phase motors.

    මචං මෙහෙමයි. බලාගාරෙක Stator winding එකේ connection එක එන්නේ Delta. එතකොට ඒක වයර් 3යි. බලාගාරෙක හැමතිස්සෙම high voltage තමයි generate කරන්නේ. මොකද එතකොට කරන්ට් එක අඩුයි. උදා 20MW බලාගාරෙක output voltage එක 12500v. එතකොට මේ 12.5kV එක 132kV වෙනකන් stepup කරනවා. ඒ transformer එකේ primary එක Delta උනාට secondary එක Star. හැබැයි යන්නේ වයර් 3යි. Neutral එක Earth කරනවා. එතකොට Earth එකෙන් circuit එක complete වෙනවා.

    Briefly an earthing transformer provides a ground path with relatively low impedance, so that the system neutral will be near ground potential. Also limits the transient over voltage spikes and provides the ground fault current during a line-ground fault.
    These transformers are relatively small, no true kVA rating is normally specified unless you are expecting it to use it to provide auxilliary power. Sometimes what's known as a zig-zag grounding transformers are used - these are smaller in size for the same zero sequence impedance.
    As I said before it's a bit hard to explain these in detail...:sorry:
