Same with me for years. I hate going out. @home most of the time. I think this started after grade 6. After grade 6 I moved between 4 or 5 schools due to various reasons. And that let me down. I faced great trouble when adjusting to different school and home/social environments and I think that made me anti-social. It damaged my personality. The important thing is how I overcame that my self. Without anyone's help. I initially read a lot of Motivational, positive thinking books. From that knowledge I developed a different personality in me. I started to feel super confident about me. Actually I forced myself to think like that. I said to my self even though I am alone, even though I don't have friends, even though I am not as rich or not as stronger than others, I don't fear anyone. I said to my self I will never come second to anyone. I started to believe I am a rare kind of person that no one can match(an uncommon breed). Within my mind I started to live one step above the society. I thought I can do anything. If others can do something I can do it too and I can do it better. And this thinking gave me extraordinary confidence and strength within me. So I made me into someone who can go out and win every situation and get respect from other people. So that was my way. FEEL CONFIDENCE OF YOURSELF. VALUE YOUR LIFE. Change the way you think. Change the way you do every thing. Start to feel one step above others. Do things others don't do. Like for example, if you never listened to English songs, start listening now. If you never watched English movies, start watching them now. Rate yourself higher. These may seem crazy ideas for someone, but these small things matter a lot. Change your lifestyle somehow better than others. And importantly don't fucking care about all the fuckers around you, who are trying to let you down. Don't give a shit. Just ignore them. Live like you are in a different world to them. Take every opportunity to show you are not the same person who was before. Never expect help from anyone. Be super confident about your abilities.
I don't recommend this but if you are good in English, listen to Eminem. His songs helped me in some ways. There is some deep meaning to those songs so I think its helpful in this kind of situations. Remember you are not the only one who having this problem. There were, there are and there will be more people like you. What's important is not giving up but prove all the fuckers you are not what they think. Show your worth. Be confident.
