I think you have selective amnesia or rather you don't want to accept the simple fact ; That is just like the lecturers doctors too are part of the society, they also have certain requirements to fit into society they belong. If the Gov fails to fulfil those there's a crisis !
Accept that first !
If there's no response to the initial problem , lecturers , doctors , engineers , labourers whoever they should stand up for the rights . don't you agree ?
The country is functioning as it is . not much changed after the war . You see doctors fighting for their rights as a crime while lecturers strike as a heroic act . did you notice the flaws in your logic ? I cannot explain more simply.
You seems to be clueless about the stats . FYI there was strikes conducted by GMOA 2009/8 . The latter took place because there was a shooting at a female Medical Officer at hambanthota and justice didn't served . Now what would you do if your collegue got shot in university ? Likewise compare the payments with the same gov rank officers with doctors , compare that with the workload ! You'll be shocked

You stand for Doctors, yeah I got the point.. And yes I have no stats to say anything about them. But all I can say is we seen enough strikes from you people, just let lecturers have the fun once..

Everyone should get equal opurtunities.Even Students who got 3s for A/L should get the chance to enter a uni....But not to a private uni....

That's why we tell government must protect & improve our University system...Starting private uni s is not the solution even though they(BS) get lot of benifits from them....

ඒක තමා එකම හේතුව.
private කැම්පස් පටන් ගන්නවට මමත් කැමතියි ....නමුත් මෙයාල private campus පටන් ගන්න හදන්නේ රජයේ කැම්පස් නැතිකරගෙන ..... දුප්පත් දෙමව්පියෝ පව්...කොච්චරනම් බලාපොරොත්තු තියාගෙනද තමන් ගේ පුතා කම්පුස් එවන්නේ...මේ බලාපොරොත්තු සුන් කරන්නයි මෙයාල මේ දගලන්නේ .ඒ දේ නම් දැන් හොදටම පෙහෙදිලි වෙනවා ඇතිනේ .මෙයාලට ඕන සල්ලිම තමා.බොරු සංවරධනයක් පෙන්නල කරන්න යන්නේ වෙන දෙයක් ......
අනික දැන් රජයේ කම්පුස් වලට විදේශ සිසුන් ගේන්න හදන්නේ .....එකට මමත් කැමතියි..නමුත් මෙයාල කරන්න යන්නේ වෙන දෙයක්...ලංකාවේ දුප්පත් දෙමව්පියන්ගේ දරුවොන්ට තියන අවස්ථා අඩු කරලා තමා මේ දේ කරන්න හදන්නේ...
එතකොට බලන්න ඉබේම රජයේ කම්පුස් private වෙන හැටි..
ලංකාවේ..සල්ලි තියන..SSS තියන.. ඕනම කෙනෙකුට රජයේ කම්පුස් ඉල්ලන්න අයිතියක් ඉබේම හැදෙනවා......
BSc degree එකක් ගන්න තියන එකම සුදුසුකම "සල්ලි"..........
යන දේ සැබෑ වෙන්න කලින් අපි අවදි විය යුතයි..................................
