Buddhism isn't based on binary logic but the culture that gave birth to modern science and mathematics are firmly based on binary logic and therefore any other truth value other than true and false are considered contradictions and therefore invalid.

according to buddhism not even you afterlife, even this very existence of yours is not the same as what you have been few minutes ago. neither is it anything else. buddhism don't see unchanging constants in reality. everything is dynamic though without any causal chains.

however if my memory serves me right Buddha has said even buddhist description of reality is not the truth in alagaddupama sutta. buddhist view too is yet another view that helps us to end samsara and not to be taken as the truth. it's a view to let go of every view including itself.

quantum superposition..?



i saw a youtube video titled "quantum physics and Buddhism: maybe it is related to this..

it's just a one instance where western thought slightly deviating from binary thinking. it doesn't whatsoever implies either buddhism is scientific or buddhism is true according to science. afaik they assimilated that from chinese thought still it's yet another view according to buddhist thought not the reality

an observation is always dependent on the observer. i think the term 'knowing the absolute reality' is a logical fallacy.
