Dude I drove a 2018 vitz so I know what it is, Then I also have seen enough "celerio" or any indian crap to tell that they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind when it comes to matching what japanese are doing

But you can't comment on what a 2025 Vitz/Yaris or a 2025 Celerio/S-Presso will be like just by driving the 2018 models

In general indian vehicles are crappy. not sure why someone would try to argue otherwise. Also people are looking at indian crap these days not because they like it, it is because that is all they can afford. And that is why you see so many threads fb posts comparing them. It is to dampen the pain of knowing you have no other option other than to buy indian crap which you wouldn't have done if you had money in the first place

Not true, Indian vehicles have been pretty reliable since 2010s - nobody complain about their reliability but their bare-boned build and lack of creature comforts and most importantly safety

They've overcome that too with their latest offerings, FronX, Magnite, 3XO, Sonet to name a few. Almost all of them have way more creature comforts than similarly priced Japanese cars and have scored 4/5 or 5/5 NCAP safety ratings and even get exported to developed markets like Japan and Australia
