There is a huge moral difference between killing from necessity and killing for pleasure. When we have plentiful access to plant-based food options, and a choice between sparing life or taking it–there is nothing remotely humane about rejecting compassion and choosing violence and death for others just because we like the taste of their flesh, and because they cannot fight back. I can see how cows are ~special really. Cows/Bulls are considered holy in some central asian religions and people think since they drink cow milk it leads to cows=mother like. Yeah, I know doesn't make any sense evolutionary wise but things have changed as culture has come in to consideration.

I find that rather dull...it's like not killing cows so that they can feel better about themselves.. people are selfish..even they do something good, it's for selfish reasons

i know you said it sarcastically but I kind of agree. There should be some limit to resource using done by humans and if not, there should be some system to take back how much we have consumed. Like clean air, drinkable water and such...

true..why do we feel that we should re correct damages done to environment? because it will have adverse effects on us otherwise..if it was scientifically proven that it's not the case, we won't give two fucks about 'going green'

and going back to the cows, we started raising cattle not because it did a favor for them.. our motto in the matter is 'you can use them but you can't kill them' ..

Well no shit, everyone excepts something in return don't they? Like every religion or even some philosophies preach this basis. Humans are selfish assholes they just want to be feel good about themselves, by killing animals or not doing so.
