හරියටම වුනේ 2016 අගෝස්තුවේ මචං.මම Al විභාගේ.අපේ පැත්තේ ඕවගේ දෙයක් වුනාම තවම යන්නේ සිංහල වෙදකමට.බොරුවට කියන්න ඕනි නෑනේ.තාත්තා ගිය වෙලාවේ හිටියේ ලමයා.ලමයාගෙ බෙහෙත් කලාට හරි ගියේ නෑ...කකුල ඒ ටික කුණුම වුනා බන්.සැරව ගලන ගානටම.අගලක එක හමාරක විතර වපසරිය කුණු වුනා කකුලේ.ඊට පස්සේ ඉතිං ඉස්පිරිතාලෙ ගියා.කුකලේ මස් කුණු වෙලා තියෙන හැටි බලලා තමා ඩොක්ටර් කිව්වේ කුණ කට්ටා කියලා.මස් ටික අයින් කරලා සුද්ද කරලා බෙහෙත් කලා.දවස්ක් දෙකක් ඉස්පිරිතාලෙ හිටියා.වෙන ලෙඩ මුකුත් අවේ නන් නෑ බන් දෙය්යියනේ කියලා.කිඩ්නි යන්නේ නයි විශට නේද?

First, I am not an expert in snake envenomation or renal disease. Experts in the above specialities will provide you with a better answer.

Secondly, renal involvement in snake bites is poorly understood (as I know), and there are many ongoing studies at the moment.

Renal involvement following hump-nosed viper (hypnale hypnale) can occur due to the direct toxicity of the venom toxin on renal tissue.

In addition to that, indirectly renal damage by development of ischaemia (poor oxygenation due to reduced blood supply) can occur due to the spectrum of thrombotic microangiopathy, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hemolytic uremic syndrome and microangiopathic hemolytic anaemia. Those will cause thrombosis of the renal vasculature (specially small vessels) and poor perfusion. Not only that, if the patient develops hemodynamic instability (mainly reduced blood pressure ), which can be developed due to many reasons, following a snake bite can lead to the poor blood supply and acute renal failure.
There are many other possible mechanisms too.

The above insults can cause acute renal failure, and the persistence of such insults for enough period can lead to the development of chronic kidney disease, which is not uncommon.

Unfortunately, I can not give a much simpler explanation.
