ශ්රී ලංකා දග පන්දු යවන ක්රීඩක සචිත්ර සේනානායක දමා ගසන බව එංගලන්තයේදී පරීක්ෂණ මගින් තහවුරු වුණා. එහෙත් එම වාර්තාව පිලිබද බොහෝ දෙනෙකු සෑහීමට පත්වූයේ නැහැ. එහෙත් පසුව සචිත්රව ඔස්ට්රේලියාවට යැවූවේ ඩැරල් ෆොස්ටර් යටතේ පන්දු යැවීමේ ඉරියව්ව නිවරදි කර ගැනීම සදහායි.
පන්දු යවන්නකුට පන්දුව මුදාහරින විට අත නැමිය හැක්කේ අංශක 15 ක් පමණයි. එහෙත් ඔහු අංශක 32 ක් පන්දුව යොමු කිරීමේ අත නමන බව ඔස්ට්රේලියාවේදීත් තහවුරු වී තිබෙනවා. කැරම් පන්දුව යොමුකිරීමේ අංශක 26.34 අත නමන බවයි මෙම වාර්තාවේ දැක්වෙන්නේ. ලෙග්ස් ස්ප්රින් පන්දුව යොමුකිරීමේදී අත නමන බව දක්වා ඇත්තේ 16.96 ක ප්රමාණයක්.

ICC Cardiff Testing Results:
§ Off Spinner (over the wicket) ranged between (39 to 44 degrees)
§ Off Spinner (around the wicket) ranged between (36 to 40 degrees)
1st Test Results (on landing) WA University Australia:
· (4) Variation deliveries
· Degrees Ranged between (off Spin - 32 / In Swing 29.21 / Carrom - 26.34 / Leg Spin 16.96)
2nd Test Results: (after 4 days of remedial coaching work conducted by 'Daryl Foster')
· All (4) deliveries ranged under (20) degrees
3rd Test Results : (continued remedial Coaching work to fix area of elbow extension as recommended by the Biomechanics expert from the 2nd Test results)
The final test results is still to be received, it is expected that it would be under the (15) degree range
'Sachithra's - Current Status:
• Continues his remediation bowling program at the Max Academy as per the changes done by ‘Daryl Foster’
• Sachithra, believes his slightly remodeled bowling action will help him overcome the current situation
• The remodeled bowling action would not prevent him from bowling the (4) variations he currently possesses
Recommendations:
• Await (WA) Report & for their recommendation to the way forward?
• Request (ICC) for ‘Standard Testing Protocols’ for Suspect Bowling Actions?
• Biomechanics Expert presence essential at the next (ICC) testing site for ‘Sachitra
• SLC may Consider requesting another center for ‘Sachithra’s next testing if the same standards in testing protocols are maintained by the ICC
In Conclusion:
• Exposure in Australia helped establish a breakthrough for SLC in 'Suspect Bowling Actions' issues with the introduction of 'High Speed Cameras' to the Coaching system
• Knowledge gained will help educate SLC Coaches & Umpires to be better prepared when countering & addressing detection & correction measures on suspect bowling action issues in the future
