Uppercut: "Thought if it is INCONCLUSIVE, it stays with the UMPIRE'S CALL???" There's a difference between the commentators saying it's inconclusive when it's Hawkeye showing the ball hitting a tiny sliver of leg stump, and when it's actually inconclusive, as in, there's no evidence of an edge.

I understand where you're coming from, but it just seemed there was way too much doubt for the third umpire to give that out. Whereas in an lbw, where the batsman is hit borderline in line with the off stump, for example, then you can say, yeah, the umpire's decision can stand

Prasad to Ahmed Shehzad, no run, massive appeal for lbw as Shehzad tries to flick that into the leg side, but it's given not out. Came in a bit but was missing leg, I think. Shehzad nearly gets hit wicket as he tries to prevent the ball from rolling onto his stumps but both bat and ball stay away from the furniture

Uppercut: "I was not referring to 'umpire's call LBW'. I have seen many caught behind decisions staying with the 'On Field call' due to lack of evidence to over turn it,which was the case here..." I've seen it happen too, Uppercut. Wasn't trying to disparage you. But in this case, there was way too much doubt about whether he had hit it. That much doubt, and it has to go with the batsman even though it was a referral by the batsman and not the umpire going upstairs himself. It just seemed the logical option to give the batsman the benefit of the doubt.

And now, for the first time, Dilruwan Perera. Will be interesting to see if there's any rough outside the off stump, with all those left-arm seamers following through, and if the offspinner can exploit it

Farrukh: "I am sure he himself is looking solid but pushing Shehzad out of his comfort Zone. I wish Pakistani players learn to rotate strike like Michael Bevan used to do." Why, Farrukh? There are three and a half days left in this Test match. Shehzad's looking good too. I see no signs of him being out of his comfort zone, and Azhar's been pretty positive too. Just that they've bowled pretty good lines and lengths to him.
