R.I.P. Sri Lanka , we will win :)

Well, as someone said we paved the way for NZ to become better and better when they toured Sri Lanka. Now SL is making Bangladesh become better and better. Rather I would say that BD is teaching a fine lesson to SL cricketers. The writing is on the wall. SL is going to lose this match and may lose the ODI series and SL will get eliminated in the first round of the WC in 2015. I guess then only SL selectors and duds like Dilshan, Chandimal and Mathews will get booted. What a shame! Nevertheless, great cricket by BD and great coaching by Shane Jorgensson and not mention great cricket administrators in BD.

Knowing Bangladesh there is still a good chance we could end up losing this match. It was 67 for 8 now they are nearly 100. We have a habit of giving away run to lower order batsmen :(. and here we are doing it :/.

Come-on Lankan Batsmen! We need time to write status updates! Don't go so quick! :(

@Blade-Runner, that was probably something like "ON FIELD CALL" if we use DRS here (Hawk eye here)..
    Posted by Great_Lion on (February 17, 2014, 10:20 GMT)

sri lanka need atleast 150 to give a fight. Now 66/7 is looking really bad.
    Posted by priceless1 on (February 17, 2014, 10:19 GMT)

i have p recited one mismatch in the series but looks like its going to be 3, BD is miles ahead in ODI Cricket compared to SL , SL should only play with the countries like Ireland,Afghanistan.....etc
Posted by Matadore on (February 17, 2014, 10:14 GMT)

SRILANKA is ranked 5 In ODI and Ranked 1 in t20... So its gonna b a #"LOW ranking thriller!" battle between 5 nd 9!
Posted by on (February 17, 2014, 10:14 GMT)

BD will win for sure SL at this point is 64 / 7... sorry Lions ...BD is winning

Under perform Tired Senior "Dilshan" is heavy burden to SL side. But after successive failures he is always in playing 11. Because his friend Cheif Selector "Sanath Jayasuriya" has no guts to remove Dilshan from Squad and Playing XI. Pls if you can't do selections properly don't have guts to remove Dilshan give your position to other person who has guts to remove Dilshan. Don't Spoil our cricket.

SL is in a right Royal mess with their indisciplined batting. lets hope that there will be a turnaround at least to give Bangladesh a decent total to chase.
Posted by AshwinPandey on (February 17, 2014, 10:10 GMT)

Now with this kind of performance, no one would say Bangladesh a under dogs team.

WELCOME to d Tigers DEN!!, lions!
Posted by on (February 17, 2014, 10:05 GMT)

well with mathew as captain, what do you expect. one negative captain.watch him playing test today by blocking the balls.just wondered if hashan was the mentor as he too was one negative captain.there u go, mathew is gone....SL usually are good in providing opprtunities for other teams to poper and this is another.yes two wrong decisions went against .
Posted by on (February 17, 2014, 10:05 GMT)

srilanka 62 -6 good captaincy by mathews , i have ever seen. bad poor srilankan

Action began!!!Go tiger go......!!! ICC be ready to revise the ranking!!!!
    Posted by priceless1 on (February 17, 2014, 10:03 GMT)

looks like my prediction is coming true, none of the SL players know how to play spin , their new players are worse than the 3rd level club players in BD
Posted by AshwinPandey on (February 17, 2014, 10:02 GMT)

Now, Mathews needs to play captain's innings.
Posted by on (February 17, 2014, 10:02 GMT)

hello Lions ...wait for a defeat today...Tiger roars...
Posted by Cricsnake on (February 17, 2014, 9:53 GMT)

Bangladesh is doing better. It seems a day of BD. Its a good test for SL middle order. You need to build-up partnerships and keep going rotating strike. Don't give wickets till last 10 - 15 overs and the death overs would be crucial. SL 52/4 now as Priyanjan departs.

@Blade_Runner,really funny that we saw that lbw was missing by miles.perrera was in the back foot and the ball was low and tailing in.it looked plumbed in real time.but it was a 50 50 decission.
Posted by AshwinPandey on (February 17, 2014, 9:50 GMT)

Nowadays, there are many good decisions as well as bad decisions by the umpires.
Posted by ajithabey on (February 17, 2014, 9:49 GMT)

I have repeatedly said that Dilshan,Sanga,Malinga should take a break and give the youngsters some exposure to international cricket especially when playing with bottom of the table teams. The results show that they are suffering from fatigue.
