විස්තරය පොඩ්ඩක් දිග වෙන්න යන්නේ....

අපෙ අයියලා දෙන්නම A/l commerce කලේ.. නෑදෑයොන්ගේ
ලමයි ඔක්කොම bio කරපු අය. ඒ හින්දා ඒ කාටවත් tec field
එක ගැන කිසිම අදහසක් නෑ.. ඒකයි ඔයගොල්ලන්ගෙන් මේක
අහන්නේ.. කීප දෙනෙකුට PM කරලත් ඇහුවා..

ගෙවල් ලඟ අඳුරන අයිය කෙනෙක් ඉන්නවා Sliit එකේ ගියපු
දැන් IFS එකේ වැඩ කරන්නේ.. එයා කිව්වා මොකක් කලත්
අවුලක් නෑ බන් කියලා. ලොකුවට විස්තරාත්මකව උත්තරයක්
දුන්නේ නෑ..

තව පොඩි අයිය බඳින්න ඉන්න අක්කගෙ නංගි Sliit එකේ
1st year 1st semester ඉවරයි. එයාගෙන් ඇහුවමනම්
කිව්වේ Sliit පට්ට කියලා..

මම දැනට internet එකෙ thread පීරල හොයාගත්ත කරුණු
එක්ක ආයතන දෙකේ වාසි අවාසි දාන්නම්. හරිද වැරදිද දන්නේ
නෑ. මමත් අනික් අය කියන ඒව තමයි දාන්නේ.

වාසි:

01) lectures ලා ගොඩක් friendly
02) facilities IIT එකට වඩා වැඩියි.
03) විභාග IIT එකට වඩා ලේසියි.
04) ගාන IIT එකට වඩා අඩුයි.
05) Sliit එක part time- weekend
කරන්න පුලුවන් --- මෙහෙම කරන්න
එපා කිව්වා workload එක වැඩී කියලා

06) linkedin එකේ people tab එකට ගියොත්
WSO2 ඇර අනික් ප්‍රධාන company ඔක්කොගෙම
වැඩ කරන sliit එකේ අය වැඩියි. -- මේ ගැන IIT
අයිය කෙනෙක්ගෙන් ඇහුවට පස්සේ කිව්වේ Sliit
එකෙන් out වෙන ලමයි ප්‍රමාණය වැඩි හින්ද කියලා

මේක මම දැන ගෙන හිටියා. දාන අමතක වුනා. thread එකේ

කියලා කියනවා..
02) IIT එකේ 3rd yr එක සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම intership එකක්
තියෙන්නේ.. sliit එකේ (උපරිම) මාස 06ක් වගේ කියල තමයි
කිව්වේ .

--- මේක තමයි IIT එකේ තියෙන වාසිය.

Mama Mora Engineering. Ape batch eke 40+ denek giye 200k+ (Meeta awurdu 3kata wage kalin)

Apith ekka SLIIT (Tika denai), IIT (SLIIT ekata wadaa degunayak withara pramaanyak) freshersla same salary walata hire kala. Luck eka thyenna one ithin chuttak.

අනික් ප්‍රශ්නය මම ආස data science කරන්න. data scince කරන එකද හොඳ
software engineering කරන එකද?

Sliit එකේ data science එකයි software eng degree එකයි
වෙන්වෙන්නේ 2nd yr එකෙන් පස්සේ. පල්ලෙහා තියෙන
modules data science and SE අයට් සමානව යන්නේ.

මෙතනින් පස්සේ data science එකයි software engineering එකයි වෙන් වෙනවා..
පල්ලෙහායින් තියෙන්නේ software engineering

දැන් පල්ලෙහයින් දාල තියෙන්නේ data science 3rd yr එකයි 4th yr එකයි.

මම අහල තියෙනවා data structure and algorithms කියන්නෙ වැදගත්ම module එකක් කියලා. Sliit එකේ
මොකක් කලත් ඒක cover වෙනවා .. හැබැයි IIT එකේ එහෙම වෙන්නේ නෑ.

පල්ලෙහායින් දාල තියෙන්නේ IIT එකේ software engineering modules

attach කරන්න පුලුවන් file ගාන 10යි. IIT එකේ data science modules ටික
reply එකක් විදිහට දාන්නම්.

වැඩ දන්නවනම් ඕන එකක් කියන්න එපා. මොකද ඒකෙන් මට තීරණයක් ගන්න
උදව් වෙන්නේ නෑනෙ.

ඔයා මම වුනානම් කියලා හිතලා මේකට උත්තරයක් දෙන්න. plz

වුන හින්දා පොඩ්ඩක් කේස් වුනාලු.. ඒකයි modules ගැනත් පොඩ්ඩක් බැලුවේ..

Good analysis before starting a degree and i wish you all the best
This is my 2 cents

IIT has 1 year internship and institute itself pushes to get internships for students. This is very good to get industry exposure and will be a huge advantage to get a job once you graduated

During that internship year IIT does not teach anything and SLIIT does which will end up with more content to learn and add more credits to degree. AFAIK IIT charges some amount for internship year as well (Please correct me if i am wrong)
So its about (3 years degree content + 1 year industry exposure) vs 4 years more credits and content

However you can consider course fee as well and i don't know current costs. In SLIIT it has mahapola and full scholarships and there are some who has just paid for 1st semester and got scholarships until the end If they are batch top in the last semester they get a cash price and it will settle 1st semester fee as well

IMO it doesn't matter and both are reputed enough to get a job in any company

degrees විතරයි 3 years.
කොහොමත් 3 years ඒව කරන්නේ නෑ . පස්සට msc එකක් එහෙම කරන්න
හිතුනොත් කේස් ගොඩයි.
