ජාතික ගමනාගමන කොමිෂන් සභාව විසින් සුභාවිත ගීත 1000කින් යුත් සංයුක්ත තැටියක් සකස් කර එය එළඹෙන 31 වනදා පෞද්ගලික බස් රථ හිමිකරුවන්ට බෙදා දීමට නියමිතව අැති අතර ජනවාරි මස 01 වනදා සිට බස් රථවල මෙම සංයුක්ත තැටියේ ඇති ගීත ප්‍රචාරය කළ යුතු වනවා.

ඒ අනුව අදාළ ගීත ප්‍රචාරය නොකර ඝෝෂාකාරී ගීත යළි ප්‍රචාරය කළහොත් 1955 අංකයට පැමිණිලි කළ හැකි බවයි ජාතික ගමනාගමන කොමිෂන් සභාව සඳහන් කරන්නේ.

Picking up passengers when the bus is already overloaded, waiting unnecessarily in bus stops till they see another one is on their rear end. Collecting 10 rupee (or whatever the short distance fare) on long distance buses.
Regulation of the services is what's needed. Not only the songs they play - which is of secondary importance. What do you think?

Buses should have GPS tracking data and all the public transport (Trains, CTB, Private bus, upcoming ferry services) must have a common "Card Payment" system instead of using physical money.
