Eminem’s new album, Relapse, could possibly be the biggest debut of hte year, final statistics will be released next week, but it is estimated to have sold 650,000 copies in its first week. In comparasin to his other albums it might be less though, His previous studio album, 2004’s “Encore,” sold 711,000 copies in its first week. His best performer was his second album, “The Marshall Mathers LP,” which opened with sales of almost 1.8 million copies in 2000. Relapse concentrates mostly on eminem’s drug problems “It’s no secret I had a drug problem, I just don’t think my fans knew how bad it was,” Eminem, who has kept a low profile at his Detroit-area home in recent years, wrote in an article for the hip-hop magazine Vibe.
