That's bull sh*t. Download them quickly and turn off the PC when you don't download any. At least you will safe some $$$ on the electricity bill.

    oh yeh,I switching to solar power,so I can run my pc using sunlight

    Anyway if its for real, I think to make that much of power you need really big solar panel and some expensive equipment. I think Suntec(Sub of Shell Ltd) providing them. But really expensive.

    hehe i called them and asked about prices, they have like 50w+ like stuff hehe.
    Anyway they were asking like from which cellular company you from?
    coz all of their customers are cellular companies who setup towers in areas where no power or lot of down time which can’t handled by backup batteries.

    they have better stuff too. but really expensive.
    But the idea is charging the batteries from the solar panel and then get the power from batteries. Not direct power from solar panel. :no: So even low end panels can charge those batteries.

    I do hav equipments,and I'm not sleepy though.I already got a pc up n running on another solar panel.but for mine I need to add another Soalr panel to ge more power.Well....the solar panel wz around 30k[as I cn remember],bt itz worth cz I'm running my 24x7.

    well how much power that panel produce? i mean the one for 30k?
    you run the computer whole day from that panel only or use it only few hours a day and then back on normal power?

    Rs.2000 for the connection. And you have to buy a modem or a router. That will cost anywhere between Rs.5,000 to about Rs.15,000 :)
