anyway I'm giving you another idea. extractly the title and a abstract about a
project. well you can do this.( anyway better this is your new idea , becos you and me are different).

you have some background knowledge about the operating systems ? well most of the time our ppl are using the Microsoft windows. you can do a project to survay and find out why ppl are use microsoft mostely. There may be reasons like user friendleness , roubtness , becos everybody using it and many more
types of various reasons. You can just print a about 100 of sheets of survay and distribute them among your friends in your class. and collect it back and analyze that data and find out what are the most strongest reasons why
ppl using the microsoft windows. I can help you on the domain of this project.
