I know... that's what I thought at the beginning but there are loads of projects what kids can do. no disrespect have a look at the pi site. there are thousands. I bought one for my nephew but he is struggling as there's nobody to guide him.

Yeah. Mostly because of our education system.
But if your nephew can use internet, it might help.
