Ramani Bartholomeusz, Actress Who was Murdered by Actor Kamal Addararachchi

This was a contraversal murder committed by Actor Kamal Addararachchi in 1987. Ramani Bartholomeusz was awarded the Miss Sri Lanka in 1987 and she had been selected for Miss Universe 1988.

Bartholomeusz died on June 30, 1987 at the age of 20 when she allegedly jumped out of the car while Kamal Addararachchi was driving it after a dispute. Exact details are unknown.

Also suspect that she committed suicide after losing virginity to Kamal and also there is another contraversy that Kamal pushed her out of his car.

Kamal has a reputation of molesting young girls and he is a well known pedophile in Sri Lanka
