ADSL is expensive in Sri Lanka

bro u shud understand this first.
india and sri lanka are different in many ways. india is very much ahead in technology than sri lanka. and also if u looks at da statistics india has 60million internet users as of march 08 out of which 3,130,000 are broadband users. but wen we look at sri lanka we have only 771,700 internet users as of march 08 out f which only 63300 are broadband users. if u had done commerce u wud b knowing dat da price wud differ according to da demand and quantity. its da same factor.
u shud understand this. we shud be happy dat we atleast have broadband connections at that this rate which is kind of affrdable. and also india has so many internet connections coz da gvt of india has a scheme where u can buy a computer for around 250 dollars. and also mst of india has telecommunication ceverage either by wires or wireless. this enable them to have more customers. whereas in sri lanka not much.
lets all be thankfull to da service providers in sri lanka for giving us broadband facilities. or else do u think u, me and everyone else from sri lanka will be able to be on EK??

ahh i dont think so.. in Austraila u cant even find any unlemited ADSL conections.. even tho u got a 150GB limited (which the highest cap plan u can get) conection, den also u'll have 2 play like AUD $129. dat means more than SLR 12,000
