    සිංහලෙන් කොටන්න ටිකක් වෙලාව යන නිසා මෙහෙම කියන්නම් :
    • It not just the country to migrate that matters, but where in the country you live as well - For example: If you like living in fast paced city with good facilities and outgoing lifestyle, you`ll find it miserable to live in the countryside. Most of these countries have massive differences across different cities/states. So, consider/research where in the country you`d want to live. You might not be able to cooshe initially but can work towards moving to where you`d want to live.
    • Your profession is key – professionals who are qualified and experienced in a certain field tend to find life relatively easy once they enter the job market. Obviously different countries have different requirements for skilled individuals, so research about where to migrate based on your profession and experience.
    • Who you associate with is one of the most prominent factors for a happy lifestyle – If you migrate, good friends/family makes a massive difference in your lifestyle. One might not have family when they move abroad, but building good relationships with people/friends is a must. The traditional mentality of “everyone is a bastard who is going to screw you over” won’t take you anywhere. Put some effort in to building relationships, this helps a lot in a new place where you don’t have a big network.
    • Adopt to where you move – one cannot expect the same lifestyle and people and culture and everything else when they migrate to a different country. Hang on to your core values, but adopt to the environment. Most people who whinge about racism in other countries are lacking a great deal in this department. Learn the local language and slang, be positive, direct and nice to people.
I have lived abroad and have friends and family all over the world. I`ve never ever found anyone who is NOT happy or satisfied, when the above 4 criteria are met.
