According to unofficial sources, Airtel gives only 2G & 3.5G connections, So, all 3G towers are HSDPA enabled. Airtel has 3G from Colombo to Balangoda to east and upto Galle to the south.

According to those factors Airtel cannot be success in contemporary GSM market.(They cheating most of Sl guys!(including me )

Yeap I agree with you brother;Airtel is the best service provider in India (no doubt )But in SL they will be failed !B'cos they lie anytime!For a instance when you call for their hotline they will say 'Yes Sir Can I help u sir!'But when we reached their 'Store' (or even 'Lobby')they will treat as their customers like Bull dogs! What is this?
They should realise they are the 5th operator in SL.Customer will go other operators!
They should not promise what they cannot do? Am I right?

The connections can only be obtained from the Kolpity branch. Apart from the USB Dongle they offer Wi-Fi routors as well according to your requirements.....

And according to Airtel's coverage map which I saw states that Colombo's HSDPA / 3G coverage runs only upto Moratuwa down the coastal line......
