AIrtel will not launch on 18 th actually their initial paln was to start promotions on 18th of december and commercially launch on 23rd of december.

And They already started the SOFT LAUNCH which is testing the whole architecture and now the following services are up and running


1. Airtel Core Network + IN Network ( HUWAWIE)
2. Billing System (IBM) + Data Centre
3. Call Center Systems (WIPRO 3D Networks)
4. Call Center (iSmart Timex)
5. Value Added Services (Bharti Telesoft)
6. Black Berry

And reason for the delay is Dialog & one of another Operators are pushing Gov to not approve Tower Sites..
