I use AMD bcoz it is cheap.
I can run 64 bit OS on 32 bit host os on vmware (in xp) in AMD. But Intel users can not do it.

But in I failed in intel core2duo 2.4 and Intel P4 HT with vmware work station.

Like they say, you need to have VT enabled in BIOS.
If that 2.4GHz is a E4600, then you are out of luck.

It is available on certain Pentium 4 6x1 and 6x2 models,[4] Pentium D 9x0[5], Xeon 3xxx/5xxx/7xxx, Core Duo[6] (excluding the T2300E and T2x50 models) and Core 2 Duo[7] processors (excluding the T52x0, T5300, T54x0, T5500 with stepping "B2", E2xx0, E4x00, E7200 and E8190 models)

but macho one is a laptop bought very reasontly from unity with 4GB Ram to 150k LKR. It seems to be we have to stay long time until it come to SL

කොහොමත් ලංකාවේ ඉන්නේ පොෂ් හිගන්නෝ ...අපේ එවුන් දෙගුණයක මුදලක් වැඩියෙන් ගෙවල INTEL ගන්න හරිම කැමතියි ...ගොඩක් එවුන් නොදැනුවත් කම නිසා වැඩි මුදලක් ගෙවල INTEL ම තමයි ගන්නේ ...නිකමට ගනින් Intel Core i3-8100 එකකුයි AMD Ryzen 3 2200G...දෙකේම same performance තියෙන්නේ ...AMD එක 20000 වෙනකොට intel එක 28000 වෙනව ...රුපියල් 8000 ක වෙනසක් ...amd චිප් එකේ builtin VGA එකක් තිබිලත් ....හැම වෙලේම පොඩි performance වෙනසකට intel වල price difference එක ගොඩක් වැඩි වෙනව ...අපේ උන් අදත් දන්නේ amd කිව්වම රත් වෙනව නේද කියල තමයි ...ලංකාවේ බහුතරයේ සල්ලිකාරයෝ නෙවෙයිනේ ....කාට හරි මුදල ගැන හිතල performance ගැනත් හිතනවානම් පොකට් එකට ලාබම AMD එකකට යන එක තමයි...අපේ එවුන් අතේ පිච්චිය වියදම් කරගෙන INTEL ගන්නකොට අන්න ජපානේ INTEL processor වලට වඩා AMD processor තමයි විකිණිලා තියෙන්නේ ...රත් වෙන නිසා වෙන්න ඇති ඒ
