Kaspersky is my no.1 choice..
and guys dont use Norten !!!
I got a original Norten Antivirus 2008 with my laptop..
But had many virus breakins while using it..
Now im using KIS 7..and stil i got no problem with it..
And also they issue hourly updates so u r well protected with the latest..

Where is Avira in your list??? no draining system resources & exellent detection rates.. & good user friendly interfaces...

Avira is the best for me after I got frustrated using kaspa..that is a sucker for slowing down your system..

Avast is missing from the list. As is Nod32 and Clamav.
Avast saved a lot of Windows Desktops while Nod32 saved a lot of Windows Servers for me.

Though after switching to Linux I've no problems with viruses at all for servers and desktops.
Still, on mail servers I run clamav to scan incoming emails.

i have dual boot with vista and XP. used kis and norton 360 for each. norton detected some viruses that KIS dint detect but KIS is the best for sure from those two. but after my KIS key got blacklisted now im using Avira. that has multiple protection and dont solw the machine. so i think everybody should think positively of avira and try it. coz it really works well
