Yep, but UNP was the oldest and strongest party in the history that had toxic family-based voting system. If they could turn their back to their party for the sake of puthano, nothing is impossible dude.

All we have to do is, vote on the election and try to be a part of it to make it possible.

Don't forget their were 25 % whom. Refrained from voting and out of total voters 32% were young generation.

I am pretty sure that, out of 32 % at least 30 % voted for Gota with the hope of a better country. Also by 2025 it will be risen up to 40%.

It's not impossible bro. It's possible and all of us have to do our part. As I voted for Gota in 2019 I'll vote for AKD in 2024.

I don't have any suggestions. The system is going to collapse anyway. It's not sustainable. When that happens people should form their own government like in China.

IMO , JVP deserves a chance. One and only a chance to prove them. Probably, they'll fail too. But, what if they'll succeed?

1. If they come into power its because the rich and powerful wanted them to
2. Even if that's not the case they have to operate within the bounds of the same constitution, parliament
3. JVP's policies are unpragmatic and outdated, even communist countries like China supports privatization and private education, JVP doesn't and this will destroy our economy even further.
4. At this point staying allied with China is the wisest thing to do because they are about to become the next global superpower, the JVP however will disrupt their infrastructure projects and sever the relationship we have with them.
