Anyone with Lactose Intolerance?

How were you diagnosed? Also can someone recommend me a consultant too? (around Kandy)

whenever i get milk, im having uncontrolled bowel movements and mild stomach ache
same for both fresh milk and milk powder
cheese, butter, yogurt fine btw

and this is not something new, I've been experiencing this since school days; didn't care about it much back then

there are medicine that you can take before having dairy, I live in Australia and take Lacteeze. try asking for Lactase enzyme from a pharmacy ?

South Asian countries වල 60-80 % වගේ lactose intolerance එක තියෙනවා කියලා article වල දැකලා තියෙනවා. ඒ කියන්නේ නොදැනුවත් උනාට ගොඩක් දෙනෙකුට ඇති.

ඩොකාලගෙන් නම් ලොකු සහනයක් හම්බෙන් නැති වෙයි. ලංකාවෙ ගන්න පුලුවන් lactose free එකම milk එක මේක, pharmacy වල තියෙනවා. පොඩ් උන්ගෙ එකක්, ඒක අවුලක නෑ. මන් මේක සෑහෙන කාලයක් පාව්ච්චි කරා.

මේකෙ තියෙක probiotic එකත් හොදයි, l reutri, lactose seem එකට. Gastrointestinal doctor කෙනෙක්ට පෙන්නපන් කෝකටත්

Lactaid was available... so is Lactose free milk but on & off. There are periods when these arn't available. Otherwise Soya milk. Nothing can be done for lactose intolerance. You got to live with it.

When do you do not produce enough Lactase, which is the enzyme that breaks down milk sugar into two simple sugars — glucose and galactose — which are absorbed into the bloodstream through the intestinal lining. When this process fails, lactose in your food moves into the colon instead of being processed and absorbed. Then normal bacteria interact with undigested lactose causing lactose intolerance.

Note: Lactose is a disaccharide of glucose and galactose C12H22O11.

bro I've got this too, is soya milk good to consume daily? but kinda expensive too though

Get a lactase pill before milk and see if it helps. If it does, you are intolerant.
