Arent the signatures too big?

Hi, I just joined this forum. One thing I have noticed compared to some other forum is that the sigs are too big. Some are so big that it is difficult find the post of that user. This is just an opinion. May be I am wrong and there is a reason for big sig. I dunno since I am new.

Yep, some are like 2 or 3 times longer than the post itself. Very hard to read. I also feel the same...

I think EK site and our Sigs have own unique identity than other sites

If someone is not ok with the signatures, they can disable em from yo UserCP
Even i ve done it even though I run on 1Mbps
It saves bandwidth

Size is a problem for those with slow Dialup connections. Oh, and what about the distraction, clutter and unnecessary scrolling..

bdw im surfing da net with no images option.. bandwidth probz ne.. so no effect..

Hi, thanx for the tip. I found how to disable the signatures. Now it looks Ok. No clutter.

True, I also have disabled sigs; but that means either you have it or not at all. Some people have links in their sigs that might come in handy at times..

There is a reason why most other professional forums have a limit on the image size for signatures.

GTRZ said that there will be a limitation for the signature sizes in Beta 3 and onwards, more like a common size allowed for everyone, yet its not implemented and this issue is continuing for sometime now so all you have to do is to report that to admin and wait!

Sig Size can be a problem in both Height/ Width and Size (kb)

but if it is a problem they can disable sigs from CP or disable images from browser settings.

the matter of siggies being too big (length and height) is something which needs attention. i know about the ability to disable them in the CP but still this gives a negative look to the forum. it decrease the pro look EK is having and gives it a "thorana" like "i promote myself so look at mee!!!" look. (kinda like shameless self promotion)
