I heard some rumors about his sexual interest which i couldn't believed in the first place.If UK laws strict towards LGBT at the time why would not he move to USA ? where LGBT has freedom to do anything as normal person except marriage at the time ?

USA has a far better social system on LGBT inclination than SL ?

he was married against his will by his parents from what ive heard. afaik his brother has officially said arthur c clarke was gay. even usa wasn't as tolerable as us in those times or alan turin could have easily escaped into usa.

davinci ? i don't think so we don't have enough evidence to evaluate his sexual orientation he might as well been a bisexual. i think most of those claims are based on freudian psychology.

btw there's another factor playing a significant role in this matter. its the intellectuals who are most likely not to hostile towards gays and perhaps it was just gay people are more likely to come out of the closet if they belong to a group that keeps close contact with such non-hostile individuals. so a siginificant proportion of gays among regular people might still be hiding inside the closet out of fear. so i don't think a direct genetic connection between intelligence and homosexuality exists

Some believe there was already build castle on the sigiriya rock before Kashyapa occupy it .But those are still a unproven legends based on folklore.
