AWS Auto Scaling උදවු

මචන් උදවුවක් ඕනෙ. මගෙ requirement එක මේකයි. Vertical scaling කේස් එකක්.

Ex -
t2.micro EC2 එකක් තියෙනව. ඒක රෑ 10න් පස්සෙ t2.micro වෙන්න ඕනෙ. උදේ 8න් පස්සෙ t2.medium එකක් වෙන්න ඕනෙ.

මේක හදන්න දන්න පින්වතෙක් උදවුවක් කරනවද? නැත්තම් guide එකක් හරිකමක් නෑ share කරන්න පුලුවන්නම්.

මට horizontal scale එකට මේ time ටික set කරල schedule එකක් දාන්න පුලුවන්. හැබැයි එතකොට තව instance එකක up වෙනවනෙ. තියෙන type එක මාරු වෙන්නෙ නෑ. මට ඕනෙ තියෙන instance එක ඒ schedule එකට scale out වෙලා scale in වෙන්න.

කියපු දේ තේරුනාද මන්දා...

මම guide එකක් හෙවුවට මගේ requirement එකට හරියටම සෙට් වෙන එකක් හම්බුනේ නෑ. තව දෙයක්, මේක Windows Server 2019 SQL Server එකක්.

මචන් මේකෙන් ELB එකක් through නෙ වෙන්නෙ. මට ඕනෙ කෙලින්ම අපේ EC2 එකම resize වෙන්න. අනික මේකෙ වෙන්නෙ Cloud Watch එකෙන් trigger වෙලානෙ. මට ඕනෙ මචන් given specific time fram එකකට වැඩේ වෙන්න.

වෙන කිසිම service එකක් පාවිච්චි කරන්නෙ නෑ මචන් මේකට. Just EC2 only.

ඔවු පුලුවන්. මට ඇත්තටම ඕනෙ මචන් මගෙ මේ requirement එක කරන්න පුලුවන්ද බලන්න මචන්. EC2 එක resize කරන්න.

EC2 witharanam EBS (non root) ekakata ube data tika dapan. ec2 dekak hadanne one instance type deken.
EBS eka hamawelawela mount krnna puluwan awashya EC2 ekata.
lambda service ekak liyanna cloudformation walin udeta ara EBS mount eka anith EC2 ekata mmaru wela active EC2 eka shutdown wenna. shutdown una EC2 walata AWS charge krnne na.

autoscaling pawichchi karana eka wadak na single istance nam. autoscaling is not designed for cattle servers (read abous pets vs cattle)
conversion time ekedi downtime adu karanna widiyak hithanna ona (if needed)

I can tell with 95% certaninty that you haven't optimised your design and architecture. you're trying to achieve something with tools that were not designed to do what you want.
poddak kiyawanna database servers design karana hati gana. internet eke ona tharam thiyanwa. prod setup ekakata oka use karanna epa.

If it was me I would go for a t2.medium that runs all the time. If your budget is too tight run a ECS service on a autoscaling cluster that has a maximum of 2 or 3 t2.micros.
eeta passe autoscaling app scheduler ekak danna desired count eka dawalta 2 wela rata 1 wenna.

I got the total idea. And yes, this is not something optimized environment, this is just utilizing that tools I have.

මම හිතපු විදියට ලේසියෙන් කරන්න බෑ වගේ. මම මචන් උබ දාල තියෙන විදියට try කරන්නම්.

අන්තිමේටම දාල තියෙන option එක මට ලේසි වගේ. කරල බලල් issue එකක් තිබ්බොත් කියන්නම්
