May I ask about your qualifications and/or work experience first (If you don't mind only. You have the full liberty to skip the question :D)

    In Australia:

Living conditions are good. Much better than Sri Lanka.

Education is good in a way. But the standard is not up the level of Sri Lanka. That is only until High school.

Safety: Much better. People are equal. Religions/ race don't play a big role.

Stability of the economy: Until the uranium, lead, gold, diamond mines are there, economy looks superb.

Opportunities: Depends on the qualifications and experience. But there are a lot of opportunities for 'proactive' people :)

But sorry, I can't do an unbiased and a critical comparison. Because I haven't been to any other country for more than 3 months...

ehema cost wise nam danne naha kollo... Kalin A/L karala innako elakiri wage. passe balamu.

Anyway irrespective of the field, Australia is cheap I think. (Not the cheapest though....) Anyway don't know much about them. Have to check. Will let you know later.

sorry.. thread moved.. just got to knw how to put a poll.. :)

    http://www.elakiri.com/forum/showthread.php?t=132581

Sorry. But you can't put a poll for this subject I think.

Because NONE of the ElaKiri members have lived in a country other than Sri Lanka and only one more country for more than a year.

And you have to live at least a year to decide which is the best.

So what you will get here is a mixture of information from different people living in different countries. So after that, you make your own decision bro :D
