If you're a Windows or GNU/Linux, user nothing beats the ThinkPad. No bells and whistles but get the job done. Here's a quote I got a couple of months back.

Lenovo ThinkPad T480 Business Notebook (Unit Price Rs. 217,000.00)

8th Generation Intel Core i5-8250U (Up to 3.4GHz, 6MB Cache) Processor, 16GB (8GB x 2) 2400MHz DDR4 Memory, 500 GB SATA SSD, 14.0” (355mm) FHD anti-glare LED backlight display, No VGA port, No Optical Drive, Intel® UHD Graphics 620, HD720p Camera, Gigabit Ethernet Connection, Wifi + BT, UltraNav, TouchPad, 6 cell Rear battery, Finger Print Reader, Windows 10 Pro License 64bit, 3 years warranty for the system/ 1 year for the battery (International warranty services), Lenovo Basic Back pack

I ultimately settled for a MacBook though.

Great. Where did you get the quote from? Who is the agent for Lenovo here?

    no gaming. business use only

For 200K what i can suggest is HP Probook 450 G7

It comes with I7/8GB/1TB/W10 Pro with 15.6" FHD 2GB Dedicated VGA. You can add a 250GB NVMe if you wish.

The Price is Rs. 178k and 14K for the NVMe SSD.

The laptop comes with 3 Year Warranty including Battery. HP is the only brand to provide you 3 Yr Warranty on Battery.

You can call me 0777 802534 or share your contact no

If you are not going with gaming purpose, Thinkpad T series or L series is the best. then HP EliteBook series and MSI PS42 also good

HP Elite book is over 200K and you cannot match both Elitebook and the T series. Elitebook is far ahead. Compare the features before buying one, also the local service.

Get a thinkpad. specs on paper is not everything.

They have a proven track record of being excellent work laptops

So that means your budget is over 200K, you need to clearly say what your real target is.

    Have you seen

HP Elite Dragonfly ? which is the best ?
can slightly adjust. but let it be around 200K. Any idea about Microsoft Surface?
