Best recognized Msc in Lanka for Software engineering?

Try Moratuwa or Colombo. Good with Recognition + Quality

SLIIT is ok but less recognition than above


Do not Try IIT .2 weeks back i have been their and the staff plays a game .They say its a Top Ranked university blaa blaaa ... But University of westminster is not even in the top 100 . .Also the facilities are VERY Low . Class rooms gave me an idea of a older tuition Class.( go have a walk inside the building n see) NO PARKING and i got scolded by a police men for parking mine next to the building on road.. Really disappointed

There are some other places aswel .But No experience about them .

IIT echchara bad da? I thought they were good and well recognized in the industry. westminister is not a top ranked but comparatively with others isn't it good? FYI degrees offered in sri lanka from private institutes are mostly not from top 100 uni in world. if there's one please tell.

NIBM offers some msc that is done by UCD.... UCD is a good ranked university... but this degree is more on management information systems as i know, not much CS...

yeah, ucd msc is better for people who want to change to IT stream, i need an msc that focuses either on cs or se.

i mean i will complete Bsc in about 1 1/2 anyway.

msc is more specific and is done with exp in mind. so get bsc first while doing a job, once you finsh the bsc jump to an msc with the exp you gain while doing bsc.

if u have sufficient exp i think u can do msc with no bsc, but this exp might be somthing like 5+ years.

i meant Msc in SE or MSc in CS.

Msc in IT is good only for management folk, but then again it all depends on the course content.

As i Know ,UCSC and Mora do not conduct any MSc in SE pg degree program.

BUT-

UCSC and mora conduct MCS(not MSc) and MSc CS respectively.

And join for the master program , which has more higher rank than your previous uni/Inst.​

yeah mora is the best recognized
but its a bit difficult to follow it while working as i heard... strict on attendance, lot of assignment/reading lots of research papers/presentations etc
