1)I did my A/L exam in 2012.
2)When I selected the courses in the university I selected Biological science
above the IT courses.
3)So,now I have been selected for the Biological Science.
4)But my Z-core is above the cutoff marks of Kelaniya(MIT) and UCSC(BIS)
5)Beside,I have passed the aptitude test of Kelaniya MIT
(UCSC BIS result has not been released)
6)When I inquired from the UGC they said the priority can be changed.
7)So,I want to know which degree is more valuable between IT(MIT & BIS)
and Biological Science??
MIT > BIS no brainer. comparing IT and bio Sc. is like comparing apples & oranges.. bio sc. is unique in its own way.. bio sc. would lead to chemistry special, and as i remember microbiology in kelaniya or j'pura.1)I did my A/L exam in 2012.

what yiu prefer might be the key here..
why would you select bio sc. over IT if you prefer IT over bio sc.? any way it's done now.
i really dont think any change would/could be done, unless there is a vacancy.. but if you could file an appeal as a candidate sooner rather than later, there might be a hope..(i would file an appeal today if i were you.. because only about 50 students are taken for MIT)
btw priority cannot be changed unless it is changed within 2 weeks or 2 months from the closing date. Only thing you can do now is appeal (im almost sure.

First of all I would like to thank you very much for your response.
Though it is mentioned so,in the UGC handbook when I went to UGC they told me they still accept appeals regarding the change of priority.
Actually I don't have a clear idea about these courses.
Lot of people say that MIT in Kelaniya is better than the Biological Science.
So I decided to forward an appeal to change the priority of the degree courses.
Seriously I had no proper knowledge of using this website so I was scared
that is why I got the help of intermediary person to do that for me.
Inborn I have got a strong spine.
Don't forget that human beings belong to the kingdom of Chordata!
But I don't think that "mottaya" has such a thing hehehehe
