I suggest to avoid Sampath bank at any cost.

I have been using sampath internet banking for about 6 years now. The only time i visited a branch was to open my primary account. My experience with sampath has been a really good one.

Compared to my experience with BOC Sampath is 100 times better.

Haven't had bad experiences with NSB except for the fact that my account there is almost dormant.

is it decades ago?

Its true that Sampath used to provide good service in 2010s but not on this decade. Now it seems like all the state own banks have outrun them. (dunno much about people's bank since I don't have an account there)

I am commenting based on my experience in last few weeks.

1. The worst customer care - Stuff acts like 'Sampath' is the only band in the island. Provides very disregardful service even in the quite(less busy) times.
2. Very unprofessional - Mostly the stuff behaves like school kids, they keep customers waiting to chat and make jokes with each other even the customers are right in front of them.

In the bottom line, by comparing to the State Owned banks like BOC, I wont be recommending anyone Sampath.

PS: I am telling this with my recent experience. I only went there to open an account, just image how it would be if I went to applied for a loan....
