can C&C3 run well on a 7800GT?

Well, when it comes to strategy games, both CPU and VGA are critical. 7800GT (stock) is a good card, but marginally better than mine (overclocked)

Hahaha. I have a Core 2 Duo E6300 :D
(That's why I didn't want your PC in the first place ).

P.S.
What exactly is my problem?

You know, Tiberium Wars brings down my card to knees at 1280x960, level 3 AA (don't know which X value) and Ultra high settings. Sometimes the frame rate drops to 7-8fps!!! Not sure if this is solely due to the graphics card. Strategy games tend to eat up a lot more CPU cycles than FPS games ne.

Why? This is the latest game released. Of course it will bring down any PC which is not equipped with a 79x0 card or a X19x0 card.

Mine is an X800GTO. Far better than a 6600GT. Performance wise equal to a 7600GT at the current state. I can play NFS Carbon at max details at 1280x960.

how exactly... woah confusing talk..
You need to have a fast CPU (I mean, for gaming). A 3GHz P4 is not a champion gamer. You will be (heavily) bottlenecked by a 3GHz P4 in this game. You will be OK in FPS games though.

You have got a lot of things wrong because of the way they have given the specs.
Here's the comparison (had to type all by myself )
