Do you think it's worth paying Rs.100000 for the CPU alone? Especially when you can pay one third that price on a Core 2 Duo and oveclock to the same MAXIMUM overclock of both CPUs. (2.93GHz CPU will only reach about 3.6GHz on air and so will the 2.4GHz CPU)

Also you have to use the best parts of other components, otherwise it will not make any sense. You have to balance out the components.

Still, I was talking about 7800 series and 6800 series
7600 is not great for utilizing SM3 features. You can, but it's not such a great experience. But it depends on the person. There are some people who are willing to sacrifice performance for image quality (even if it goes lower than 25fps!!! )

Or I'm sure that you are not talking about 7600 GT 256MB

ATI and Vista a catastrophe? You are mistaken. ATI got it right. nVidia is doomed!!! They still have loads of issues. Some people who bought 8800GTX's haven't moved to Vista for this exact reason. How pathetic.
