Check with the Brazilian embassy in Colombo. Takes a fair bit of time to obtain the Visa. Also if you are travelling with Children they need extra notarised documents.

you still need a transit visa in that case. most developed countries get 30 day on arrival visa in UAE. sri lankans have one of the worst passports in the world. lets hope we will be born in a stable country that has freedom of travel in our next life.

Oops you are probably correct. You might need a transit visa in Dubai because of the SL passport.
But probably easily arranged through the airline. I mean easier than a US one.
