I can't load hotmail, facebook, yahoo, or any https:// website on either google chrome, internet explorer and firefox!! I tried clearing the history from chrome but it didn't work!!

try this and see
go to your internet properties, rightclick on internet icon->internet properties->advanced tab-> restore advanced defaults and reset (click both of them)

hmm can't seem to find the advanced tab...there is something called previous sessions..but I don't think I will have any since I reinstalled it..well looks like i won't be going on fb for a while
